Professional Biography
Dr Megan Fletcher is a Specialist Anaesthetist working in Public and Private Practice on the Sunshine Coast. Dr Fletcher enjoys a mixed Adult and Paediatric practice with particular interest in Paediatric anaesthesia, ENT, Plastics and Neuroanaesthesia.
Dr Fletcher graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 2001. She started Anaesthetic training in Wales before emigrating to Australia in 2007 where she completed her training in Melbourne and Sydney. During her training she undertook further study in Paediatric Anaesthesia and Neuroanaesthesia.
Dr Fletcher worked as a Specialist Anaesthetist for 5 years at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospital in Sydney before relocating with her family to the Sunshine Coast in 2018.
Other interests
Meg is a dedicated mum to her 2 children, has a passion for all outdoor activities and is often found at the beach or in the water.
