Your Specialist Anaesthetist will meet with you before your scheduled procedure. This may occur in our private rooms or at the hospital.
Please discuss any questions or concerns you have with them.
Role of your Anaesthetist
Your Anaesthetist will aim to make this as safe and as comfortable an experience as possible. It is the job of your Specialist Anaesthetist to monitor you carefully throughout your operation or procedure.
Your management continues into the recovery area until it is safe for you to leave the theatre location.
Please let your Anaesthetist know if you have any concerns, especially if you have had a difficult experience in the past with anaesthesia.
